I’m so happy to have found Dr. Re and I’ve already recommended him to several people I know. I suffered from shoulder pain of an unknown source for almost a decade. No one could ever tell me what was wrong or cared enough to investigate further. I went to a doctor who told me I was “fine, just take ibuprofen”. Over the years it got worse and worse until I saw Dr. Re who literally looked at my xray and diagnosed me correctly in about 1 minute. He set me up with PT exercises, resources, and treatment that has already had my shoulder feeling better than it has in years. He made sure I completely understood what was going on and offered a clear treatment plan with plan B options if the first path didn’t work. I feel better than ever and every day I’m grateful for the treatments he offered me to relieve pain that was so bad it kept me up at night.

Long story short: GO TO THIS MAN IF YOU HAVE SHOULDER PAIN!

Dr. Re and Aeisha are great! Dr. Re took care of my rotator cuff surgery and I have not had any issues since. He has also been giving me trigger point injections in both my shoulders. Dr. Re and Aeisha always welcome you with a smile and ask how you're doing. They take the time to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend Dr. Re and have my husband now seeing him.

Dr Re is one of the best specialists I’ve been to in years. At 61 years old I had a significant shoulder injury ( fracture/ labrum tears) and he explained in detail the injury, the road to recovery and my shoulder’s future. He’s got a great quirky sense of humor and was always upbeat with me. Fortunately, I did not require surgery, but if I did, I’d want Dr Re to be the surgeon.

If, unfortunately, one is experiencing a problem with a shoulder, consider yourself very fortunate if you consult with Dr. Re. His expertise is obvious. He takes the time to clearly explain his findings and he makes sure that you understand his prognoses and recommendations for treating your issue. The doctor's staff of assistants are very professional and compassionate.

Dr. Re did rotator cuff surgery on my grandmother and she did excellent. Since then I developed pain in my elbow and had my local Doctor inject cortisone. It worked for a bit, but when It came back I started to look at other options. PRP was one of those options. Since my grandmother did so well, I looked up to see If Dr. Re performs PRP. Not only did he, but he and his MA, Aeisha have an amazing system where he uses ultrasound to inject. Dr. Re and Aeisha were so professional and knowledgeable when it came to PRP and made the appointment a breeze. I would highly recommend you see Dr. Re if you need an injection.

I have had a painful stiff shoulder for 3 months. Recently it was keeping me up at night. Dr Re was very patient explaining my Rotator Cuff problem and the different choices for treatment . So far I am feeling much better and will complete the Physical Therapy that he recommended. His staff is outstanding - especially his assistant !

Dr Re is extremely competent. He repaired my shoulder in December and no one can believe how well I am doing. I have almost complete range of motion back. I was extremely fortunate to have Dr. Louis Peter Re, Physician’s assistant Ayesha, Surgical Coordinator Kelly Mc Carroll, and the great surgical team Greenwich Village Ambulatory Surgery Center at 200 West 13th Street New York, N.Y. Their mission was a total reconstruction of my severely fractured upper left humerus. Their mission was successfully accomplished! I am in awe with their great dedication, superior knowledge, and wonderful bedside manner. This entire staff under Dr. Re’s supervision went above and beyond in repairing my fracture. I am extremely lucky to have been under their care. My surgery was less than two weeks ago. I am recovering swiftly. I had suffered for years from incredibly stiff and sore muscles in my shoulders. Being hunched over at my desk all day and carrying a heavy bag on my shoulder gave me sharp pain in my shoulder blade and neck, sometimes even radiating down my arm. Dr. Re immediately found the spots of tension and diagnosed me with trigger points. He gave me a series of injections to release them and gave me some home exercises to perform while sitting at my desk. He even gave me a plan for an ergonomic work station!
